Library set to celebrate

The Drayton Valley Library is getting set for a celebration later this month. Alberta Culture Days run through September 30 and the library is using the occasion to celebrate its own 65th anniversary in the community.

Go Baby Go comes to town

Sam and Kent Dingwall attended a Go Baby Go event in Red Deer where they got to experience building a vehicle for a child in need. They loved the idea so much, they decided to bring the event to Drayton Valley.

Mobile home bylaw proposed

Mobile homes in Drayton Valley could soon be subject to a new set of rules. Last week town council took a first look at a draft bylaw laying out a set of architectural controls for mobile homes in the community.
